British American Dictionary is a light-hearted exploration of the differences between British and American English. It does not purport to be without error and is certainly not to be trusted for linguistic or etymological accuracy. In short, it is a bit of fun and no reliance should be placed upon its information.

British American Dictionary will never share personal information of any kind with any third party. Any personal information provided to BAD will remain private at all times. Any contact details of subscribers or anyone else that interacts with BAD on social media, via email or in any other way will be kept private and will never be shared with third parties.

The BAD site uses cookies. These are generated by the WordPress platform and by connected services such as Google Analytics which gather data to allow BAD to monitor traffic and so on. There is nothing sinister going on but there is a pop-up that allows users to opt out just in case and to comply with the regulations.
