BAD Words – Search the UK-US Dictionary

Here, you can search the British American Dictionary for all the BAD words (that’s B.A.D. words not bad words) , both British and American. More words are being added all the time. If you think you have a word that should be included but isn’t here yet, drop me an email and I’ll get it added. Use the drop-down menus to narrow your search. Be careful though. One word tends to lead to another and it’s easy to get lost in here for hours.

WARNING: The British American Dictionary does not exclude slang, swearwords, insults and words of a sexual nature  so some visitors may find some terms unsuitable for young readers. You can exclude from your search all words that might be deemed vulgar or offensive by hitting the ‘No Offensive Words Please‘ button below. Where that line is drawn is a matter of personal perception so if you think there are other words that need to be filtered out, please send an email. Note that some inoffensive entries may still include links to related but offensive terms so please exercise caution.
